One Body One Face is a brand of Peachy Business Pty Ltd (ABN 70 608 179 308). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use onebodyoneface.com.au, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- When you place an order: your name, email address, delivery address, phone number and what you bought.
- When you contact us: your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us. Messages sent through the contact form are stored on this website as well as sent to us by email.
- Automatically: your IP address, browser type and pages viewed, through standard web server logs.
We never see or store your card details. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number goes to Stripe, not to us.
Why we collect it
- To process and send your order.
- To answer your questions and handle returns.
- To meet our record keeping obligations under Australian law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked us to.
Who we share it with
Only the people needed to get your order to you:
- Stripe, to process your payment.
- Australia Post, to deliver your parcel.
- Hostinger, who host this website and therefore store its data.
- Our accountant and, where the law requires it, government agencies.
- Technical providers who maintain this website. From time to time we engage technical help, including software tools, to build and maintain the site. Where that work requires access to the site database, that access can include order and enquiry records. We limit this access to what the work requires and remove it when the work is finished.
Some of these providers store data overseas, including in the United States and Europe. By placing an order you consent to that disclosure. We take reasonable steps to use providers that protect your information.
Cookies
This site uses cookies to keep your cart working and to remember you between pages. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though the cart may stop working if you do.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for seven years, which is what Australian tax law requires. Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted when we no longer need them.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Email hello@onebodyoneface.com.au and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to us first, and then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Security
This site runs over an encrypted connection and we limit access to order data to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.
